A big congratulations to Lorna Doherty & Shane Duffy who were married on 25th November 2017 in a Villa Rose Civil Ceremony. The Villa Rose is a beautiful heat situated in the heart of Ballybofey. It’s owned by the same family who own Jackson’s Hotel nearby. Indeed the Gallen family have a beautiful house and gardens just outside Ballybofey near Cappry which can be used for your photos and videography.
Civil Ceremony in Villa Rose
The wedding celebration was carried out by Registrar Siobhan Duffy-Browne in the Villa Rose Hotel. Siobhan always makes each wedding celebration such fun and takes lots of little personalised touches to make every ceremony that bit more unique.
Photographer was Gerard McHugh from Donegal St in Ballybofey. The photoshoot was at the rear of the hotel and Jacksons where there are lovely views of the River Finn.
Reception afterwards was held back in the Villa Rose Hotel. The advantage of a wedding civil ceremony in the one location is that your guest can arrive before the ceremony, park cars, and are set for the day!
The bride and groom made their entrance into the room which was now turned around from the civil ceremony setup to the wedding reception layout. The speeches got underway and there was a beautiful meal for everyone.
Afterwards it was time to party! The band was Keltic Kaos. Always such a lively band and after their set it was DJ time. Ably followed by DJ MartyTemple who kept the tunes pumping for the rest of the night.
