Are you looking for a Dublin wedding videographer?

My style is story based – and I would love to tell your story. If you are looking for a Dublin Wedding videographer then look no further!

I don’t want you to have a really boring standard wedding videos. My films are entertaing, authentic and get right to the soul of your wedding day. I love travelling and I film weddings anywhere in Ireland. Dublin or the surrounding counties of Meath, Kildare and Wicklow are no problem either.

About me

I started filming weddings in late 2015 and have since been featured in many of the top publications and blogs including One Fab Day, Confetti Magazine and Love Stories TV. My style of filming is all about getting to the soul of the film through natural sounds, interesting and creative visuals, crisp audio from toasts/speeches. Then taking these raw ingredients I combine them through careful editing.

I was honoured to have been asked to speak at Ireland’s Leading Videographer’s Conference. This hour long presentation to filmmakers from all over Ireland was about my style of storytelling. I take much inspiration from the cinema and love to structure an entertaining story. The story elements on every wedding day are as unique as every couple and each film is told uniquely and entertainingly.

I want to create an authentic and emotional story from your wedding day. This will be told through film and will be something you will cherish for generations.

Style of filming on the day

I have a very minimal and discreet approach to your wedding day. There’s no big hot lights, massive fluffy microphones or a car load of gear. I bring one single bag over my shoulder that everything fits into. You just need to relax and enjoy your day. It’s a time for family, friends, and each other. By staying discreetly in the background I will be able to get all the moments I need to create your authentic film.

The Films you can receive

I will customise your wedding film collection to you both. And your unique requirements will be taken into consideration. I create these story led films for you. I don’t make them for me, so I wan’t you to be happy. By tailoring a specific colelction for you you will have the record of the day you wish for. Often though here’s a great starting point for what I recommend that you receive. We will then tailor this to you if needed.

Wedding Venues in Dublin and surrounds

You probably have your wedding venue sorted by the time you are on my Dublin wedding videography page! But if not I will share a few hotels around Dublin to give you inspiration! I’ve been lucky enough to work in many of Ireland’s top Hotels including the beautiful Lough Eske Castle Wedding Resort. I grew up a few miles around the lake from here and as a child played in the ruins of the old castle. It’s amazing to be back there as an adult and see the trasformation.

Cliff Townhouse, St Stephen’s Green, Dublin City Centre

The classy Cliff Townhouse in Dublin Centre

I’ll start with the Cliff Townhouse. This is situated right on St Stephen’s Green right in the heart of the city – it can seat up to 100 people. It’s a top restaurant, with rooms, and a great space for weddings upstairs . This Luxury townhouse and boutique Hotel has views over the green and the dining room upstairs for receptions boasts high ceilings. There are 9 guest rooms with town or park views.

Wright’s Angler’s Rest, Strawberry Beds

The cosy Wright’s Anglers Rest near the Liffey and the Phoenix Park

This is situated near Chapelizod and the Phoenix Park. I have run in the Dublin Marathon a few times and the route passes nearby here. On a tougher run it could be tempting to stop in this acclaimed restaurant and wedding venue! The Wright’s Angler’s Rest takes it’s name as it is right next to the banks of the River Liffey. And the Phoenix Park is right behind which is idea for your photos and videos. There isn’t accomodation in the venue. But there’s lots of great options nearby including the Casteknock Hotel.

Clontarf Castle

Bride and Groom outside the beautiful Clontarf Castle

We have examined city-chic and elegant. We explored cosy and natural. So I’ll finish with a Classical Historic Castle . My final suggestion is is an 800 year old building. Clontarf Castle has art galleries, 12th century architecture and landscaped gardens. There is also a lovely outdoor terrace and a timeless feeling. Castle weddings are unique and can add so much character.

Your Wedding Reception Venue, Dublin or elsewhere

I’m happy to go wherever you have chosen of course! I can film anywhere and love visiting new venues all around Ireland. Here’s a few preview films from the Slieve Russell Hotel in Co Cavan, Markree Castle in Co Sligo, Kilronan Castle in Co Roscommon, Falls Hotel in Co Clare.
