Welcome to the beautiful wedding of Gemma and Ian who celebrated with a Farnham Estate Gazebo wedding outside in the grounds of this beautiful Co Cavan Estate.
After a stormy night the morning sun rose over Farnham Estate to reveal a beautiful blue sky and it was looking promising for a good day. All was on course for this lovely Farnham Estate Gazebo Wedding in this historic Estate. The backup plan was ready just in case and the house and reception areas have some beautiful choices of indoor wedding ceremony locations and the Redwood Suite was available – but thankfully for Gemma and Ian the weather was on-side and we were ready to celebrate in the beautiful outdoors on Thursday 22nd September 2022.
Bride Gemma Fitzpatrick got ready in the bridal suite in Farnham Estate and Cathy & Donna Brennan were doing the hair and makeup and there was a lovely fun and relaxed vibe on the wedding morning. Kelly Matthews was bridesmaid and had lovely cappuccinos ready for myself and photographer Dave Sweeney – a lovely welcome for us both and excellent to get the caffeine hit in early!
Meanwhile groom Ian Doran was getting ready in one of the houses on the estate and was with the couples two children Jaxon and Reyna. Ian’s brother Gary and the two dads were here and everyone got ready in good time for the 3pm ceremony in the estate grounds.
The 100 or so guests were getting assembled on the front lawn for the Farnham Estate Gazebo wedding and celebrant Dave Russell and musician Aime Grendon were all set up and awaiting the entrance by the stunning bride. Jaxon and Reyna made their entrance first followed by Gemma who was walked down the aisle by her proud parents.
The ceremony was beautiful and included personalised vows, sand & rose ceremony and well as a lovely portion where the celebrant Dave read out 3 things the couple love about each other which was a touching moment and also great fun.
After the ceremony it was off to the drinks reception and to greet and start celebrating with the guests. Then the entrance for the meal and soon it was time to party! The first dance was performed by sister in law Jess Smith and the bride’s brother Pearse. Then the always lively Smash Hits took to the stage and the lively dancefloor kicked off in party mode!
Many thanks to Gemma and Ian and the best wishes to you and family for the future!
