Filmed by Wedding Videographer Jason McGarrigle on 14th May 2022 here is the Markree Castle Wedding Video of Rachel and Richard from Co Sligo, Ireland.
What a fabulous wedding day for this lovely couple. The stunning Bride Rachel Elliot started her bridal preparations at the family home in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Her bridesmaids were Kathryn Quinn and Katie McKechnie and between these three great friends there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere on the wedding morning.
Hair was by Rosey Breen from Eden Hairdressing Enniskillen and MUA was Beauty by Jill Wallace. The amazing white dress was by Suzanne Neville and from Serendipity Bridal Boutique. Shoes were Charlotte Mills. The whole look combined into a real Hollywood movie-star look and bride Rachel simply looked fantastic.
After an exchange of gifts and lovely heartfelt letters it was soon time to get ready. Behind the photo camera was by Photography by Ciara who is just brilliant to work with and ensured the whole day was relaxed and fun. A great photographer like Ciara always helps with making sure there are loads of natural & genuine moments and making the most of them.
Groom Richard Morrison was helped out by his Bestman Andrew Harkness and Groomsman Richard Henderson and they arrived at the Cathedral in good time for the 12 noon wedding ceremony.
The celebration of marriage was conducted by The Very Rev Kenneth R.J. Hall the Dean of the Diocese of Clogher and it was brilliant to get such a friendly welcome to St Macartins Cathedral in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.
The Cathedral has been recently renovated and the Dean informed us that we were actually getting in a day before the official opening so it was a lovely sneak-peak into the new interior. Niall and Seana McCann led the lovely music at the Cathedral and all together it was a beautiful combination of song, spoken word, and the solemn commitment of the wedding vows and nuptial ceremony.
Once the wedding ceremony was complete and the formalities of signing the registry were taken care off it was onto the Church Hall for a quick cup of tea and a few treats! Then everyone got on the road and headed on the hour or so journey to Sligo to the romantic Markree Castle Wedding Venue just beside the Wild Atlantic Way.
Markree Castle in Co Sligo is one of the most historic and elegant Castles in Ireland and boasts its own secluded 500 acre estate. Rachel and Richard and their guests had exclusive access to the 15th century Castle. This is perfect for a wedding as they were able to enjoy this grand venue with its stunning gardens and magnificent views with no interruptions and total exclusivity.
The opulent linking dining rooms then took over for the feast . The chandeliers and candles provide and unmatched atmosphere for the wedding meal. After dinner it was out to the courtyard with it’s lovely lights and sparkers from the wedding guests which visually a lovely touch for this Markree Castle Wedding Video.
Afterwards it was into the bar to the Just Adam wedding band who got the party started! Congratulations to Rachel and Richard and wishing you many happy years ahead.
