Congratulations to Caoimhe and Conor who got married on the 2nd September 2021 and delighted to share this Kilronan Castle Wedding Video of this great day. A really cool feature to this day was the little white VW Beetle – the happy couple took this on as a lockdown project and loving restored this classic car to use as their wedding car.
Bride Caoimhe got ready in Kilronan Castle with her bridesmaids Claire, Aoife and Klara. Hairdressing was by Love Ellie Bridal, and MUA was Anne Marie Doherty. The stunning dress was by Love Ellie Bridal, shoes by Ohelloclothing and Jewellery by Rosie and Dott. Flowers were by The Flower Shed.
Groom Conor meanwhile was getting ready in one of the houses in the grounds of the Castle. Michael, Stephen and Stephen were the groomsmen and Conor had some lovely little mementoes on his suit such as Cufflinks and his watch to include his late father’s memory into the wedding day. Once ready the boys headed over to the nearby village of Keadue to welcome the guests to the ceremony.
The ceremony was by Fr Frankie Lynch in the Church of the Nativity and the ceremony music was by Therese Campbell. Photographer for the day was the talented Paul Doherty. Thanks to Paul who stepped in and helped me out with a great drone video clip of the guests (and car!) outside the church when his drone was already in the air taking a photo.
Afterwards it was off to Kilronan Castle in the Beetle for the drinks reception outside on the patio. This historic castle is set on 40 acres of parkland right beside Lough Meelagh. The lake has forests and a jetty which is popular spot with wedding photographers! The original house on this site dates from the early 1800s and became a luxury Castle Hotel in 2006.
The entertainment was by Red Alert and the first dance took place outside in this beautiful location in the grounds of the castle.
Many happy years ahead to Caoimhe and Conor and thanks for choosing me to make this Kilronan Castle Video for you both.
