Massive congratulations to Caitríona McGinley & Jonathan Murphy who were married on St Patrick’s Day 2018. Their Gortahork Wedding was beautiful and the reception was held in the Waterfront Hotel in Dungloe.
Bride Caitríona got ready at the family home and this was a lovely relaxed morning. The low bright Spring light filtering through the house created a lovely serene atmosphere before the day would get underway. I love this part of the morning to capture so many little natural moments and unposed interactions.
The lovely wedding mass was held in Teach Pobail Chríost Rí Gort A’Choirce by Fr Brian O’Fearraigh and there were so many lovely personalised touches and excellent music that brought the ceremony to life. it’s a beautiful church with lots of space around the sanctuary and has a really lovely charm to the high ceilings and streams of light through the majestic windows.
Photographer was the excellent Pamela Bloe and after the photos there was a pit stop to be made to check up on the scoreline of Ireland v England in the Rugby! Thanksfully the rugby was another great match and ended up with Ireland victorious.
Reception was in the beautiful Waterfront Hotel in Dungloe which boasts a stunning setting right on the edge of the water. This is a really beautiful hotel which has seen major investments and deserves its status as one of Donegal’s top wedding hotels. It always has amazing food just in the bar or restaurant but at a wedding they also outshine themselves with delicious meals.
After the wedding speeches the lively crowd from this Gortahork Wedding partied the night away to the hits of the entertaining Goodfellas band.
