Ballycommon, Co Offaly and The Hamlet, Co Kildare
Congratulations to Shauna and Peter who tied the knot on October 20th 2018 and here’s their Co Offaly Wedding Video.
The ceremony was celebrated by Fr Joe Mothersill in Ballycommon Church, Co Offaly. This is a lovely older church. Full of charm and details and also has nice balcony at the rear. This was ideal for the traditional music group singing during the ceremony. The Church is in a lovely countryside setting near the canal and with lovely rural scenes all around.
After the nuptial mass it was off to the Hamlet Hotel near Enfield, Co Kildare. The GPS was bringing me down the motorway but I decided to follow the locals and got a little tour of the backroads of Offaly and saved on the tolls!
Shauna and Peter and both their families are big into traditional Irish music so it was only fitting that the theme of the wedding day was strongly music driven. During the ceremony there were many different beautiful performances and then for the reception there was lots of great dancing. The bride and groom and their parents performed a dance and then the dance-floor filled up for the night.
With a theme that strong it was so easy to create an edit around the wedding day and the musical inspiration all around.
Many happy years ahead to a lovely couple and so much fun to produce this beautiful wedding film!
