Amanda and John’s Wedding // Killymard & Harveys Point

Amanda Gallagher and John Reynolds celebrated their love in a beautiful Killymard Wedding ceremony on Saturday, 10th February 2024. As their wedding videographer, I had the privilege of capturing the beautiful moments that unfolded throughout their special day. From the early morning preparations, to the ceremony by Canon Fitzpatrick who shares a special connection as a cousin to groom’s family this was such a special day highlighted with the joyous reception. It was a brilliant fun-filled day in the North West Coast of Ireland.

The day began with Amanda’s bridal preparations at home in Donegal Town. The bride, surrounded by her family and friends, started her day with makeup and hair by Fiona’s Hair Studio and Maria at MK Bridal Makeup. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, and the anticipation for the day ahead was palpable. A special mention goes to Love Ellie for providing the stunning wedding dress.

The ceremony took place at St Mary’s Church, Killymard, officiated by Canon Michael Fitzpatrick. The musical talents of Deane Connaghan and Emma Warren added to the ambiance, while John’s touching gesture of lighting a memorial candle in his mother’s memory added a poignant moment to the ceremony.

Photographer was Paul McGinty of Ghorm Photography and after a quick stop at a nearby woods for some beautiful bridal party portrait photos it was over to the hotel for the family group photos which were taken at the picturesque lake in Harvey’s. The scenic beauty provided a perfect backdrop, capturing the essence of the day.
