The Veterinary theme ran throughout the day in the speeches, the giant hay bale Bride and Groom, and multiple little touches during the day including the father of the Bride Kevin leaving his daughter to the Church in his immaculate tractor! The tractors also became part of the photoshoots for photographer Paul McGinty so that tied in nicely!

Morning wedding preparations

The Bride and Bridesmaids (Claire Campbell, Ann Neville and Jane Quinn) all got hair at Rossanos in nearby Ballyshannon, Co Donegal, and makeup by Sinead Corrigan Cromwell of Beauty Boutique then off to the home house at Kileen

Groom Ciaran got ready at home in Lifford with Groomsmen Stephen Nestor, Dane Kelly and Shaun McBrearty before heading to St Patrick’s Church Ballyshannon for the wedding Mass. The nuptial Mass in Ballyshannon was celebrated by Fr O’Ferrai.

Arrival at Lough Erne

After a photoshoot at the family farm it was off to the beautiful 5 star Lough Erne Resort for the wedding reception.

I love weddings at Lough Erne as this is simply an amazing lakeside wedding reception venue situated on the Erne in Co Fermanagh. I enjoy an odd round of golf but still haven’t managed to get to play this lovely looking course. Not really going to get the time on a wedding day I suppose!

After the speeches and the meal it was handed over to the David Craig band and the couple had a really cool first dance rehearsed which went down really well with the guests.
