Amy & PJ travelled from the USA with family and friends to Ireland to get married and celebrate in one of Ireland’s most luxurious Castle Hotels. It’s a pleasure to share this Kilronan Castle Wedding video from this beautiful day and to work alongside this lovely couple and Photographer Sarah Fyffe & Wedding Planner Lindsay from House of Hannah.
The wedding morning started in Carrick on Shannon in Co Leitrim at the Landmark Hotel. Bride Amy Lynam was looked after by Bridesmaids Heather and Melonie Harper and Amy’s mum Jean was on hand for the morning preparations also.
Florist was Fiona Nolan from Fleur Weddings and the bouquets were so elegant and fitted the day perfectly; also the floral displays at Kilronan Castle later in the day really set off the venue. Selina G Makeup and Gemma Crossan were there to take care of the hair and makeup and these ladies did a great job and were able to help everyone to be ready in time with no stress! Amy’s outfit was sourced from Rue de Sein, Catbird Jewelry & Something Blu shoes. And Amy’s proud Dad Len had a beautiful first look which made sure there was hardly a dry eye in the room!
Meanwhile Groom PJ Lynn was getting ready with Colin Walsh, David O’Malley, Ryan Eingstrom and Mike Conroy in the nearby Bush Hotel. PJ was looking dapper in his velvet green jacket which really complemented his wedding day style. And there was an emotional moment when groomsman Colin made a surprise presentation to PJ on behalf of Amy. This was a custom made wedding band that Colin crafted out of wood and gold and this was used in the ceremony later that afternoon.
The ceremony itself was celebrated in St Mary’s Church in Carrick-on-Shannon by Fr Mark. Bride Amy arrived in style to the music of Etta James and the Mass included a lovely hand-fasting ceremony. Susan Ryan performed the lovely ceremony music.
After the ceremony it was off to Kilronan Castle for the wedding reception and after the touching speeches and a delicious meal it was time for Gorilla Radio to kick off the evening’s entertainment. After the happy couples first dance the father of the bride took his daughter for the next dance and the groom danced with his proud mum. Before long though the whole crowd was on the dancefloor and the party was started!
Many happy years ahead to a lovely couple and thanks for selecting me was your wedding videographer for your wedding in Ireland.
