G&R // Ballyshannon & Lough Eske // Wedding Videographer Ireland

Grace and Ronan were married in St Patrick’s Church in Ballyshannon Co Donegal in June 2022. The wedding Mass was celebrated by Grace’s Uncle Fr Frank Gallagher. It was a lovely case of history repeating itself as Grace’s parents Johnny and Carmel were also married by Fr Frank in June 1988 also in St Patrick’s Church. Honoured to be asked to be wedding videographer for this beautiful day in North West Ireland.

Bride Grace Goldrick got ready in Lough Eske Castle on the outskirts of Donegal Town along with her bridesmaids Lorna Goldrick, Alma Hussey, Deirdre Campbell and Sinead Jones. Hair was by Lisa Eccles and Makeup by Sinead Murphy.

Meanwhile groom Ronan was getting ready in the Mill Park Hotel in Donegal Town with Groomsmen Fintan Colgan, Declan Colgan, David Whelan, Edward Mulcahy. After a wee sup of a nice bottle of whiskey the lads were nice and ready with no nerves to head off to Ballyshannon for the Ceremony!

Cars were provided by Peter McLean wedding cars and took Grace to St Patrick’s Church in style for the beautiful ceremony by Fr Frank. Music was by Sinead Conway. Flowers by Ailin Flowers.

There was some lovely video footage from the wedding ceremony and once the happy couple made their way down the aisle it was time to get some of the portrait photos taken.

Photographer was Donal Doherty and chose Murvagh Beach as the wedding photography location. This is a lovely spot for photos as there is beach, sand dunes, a wooden walkway and also a forestry.

Once finished at Murvagh it was time to go for the wedding reception at Lough Eske Castle. Speeches were before the meal and then once everyone was fed it was time to party! The entertainment was provided by the Hi-Fi wedding band who were really lively and the party took off with a full dance-floor.
