A beautiful autumn day greeted us on the morning of the 6th of November 2015. The scene was set for Sinead McGlynn and Kevin O’Donnell’s big wedding day in Stranorlar and on to Harvey’s Point Country Hotel in Donegal.
Luckily conditions were perfect for photo & video on the day. I was on video duties and photographer Paul McGinty of Ghorm Studio made sure to make the most of the colourful conditions and we had a great day with this fun couple.
The day started off at Sinead’s family home in Corgary in Ballybofey. Bride and bridesmaids and were all looking fantastic and we were then off to St Mary’s Chapel in Stranorlar after the finishing touches!
The wedding ceremony was concelebrated by Fr Kieran McAteer and Fr Patsy Arkinson.
The lovely wedding ceremony music was performed by soloist Maria Mc Cormack
After the beautiful ceremony we were off in groom Kevin’s classic cars to the breathaking Drumboe Woods with its amazing autumn colours for the bridal party photoshoot.
One obligatory pit-stop later at Biddy’s O’Barnes pub we were back on the road for Harvey’s Point Country Hotel overlooking Lough Eske outside Donegal Town.
As always the lakeside venue was looking great for the big day. Groom Kevin who works with Bus Eireann had a great idea for a photobooth of a bus front heading to Harvey’s Point which was a great attraction for the guests.
And after an excellent meal the entertainment started with The Cufflinks Band.
Congrats to both Sinead and Kevin and best wishes from DonegalVideo.ie!
