Emma & David’s Preview Wedding Video, Harvey’s Point, Donegal

After a windy and rainy night we were blessed on Friday 11th December 2015 with blue skies and a lovely crisp dry winter’s day. The scene was all set for the wedding of Emma Johnston and David Duncan in Donegal Town and Harvey’s Point!

David got prepared for the big day with Bestman Matthew Duncan and Groomsman Lucas Duncan.  Pageboy Andrew Morrow was looking dapper in his suit also it must be said. After enjoying a nice cuppa from his “I love Emma” mug David was all ready for whatever lay ahead!

The stunning Emma was in the couple’s newly built home nearby and got prepared there with her Chief Bridesmaid Lynn Johnston and Bridesmaid Anne Claire Morrow – flower girl Socha O’Toole was getting prepared to and also looking every bit the princess in her white dress!

Makeup was by Kerry Harvey Designs and hair by Frances Norby of Tangles Hairdressing.

Michael Gallagher of MM Wedding Cars arrived to transport everyone into the Donegal Town Presbyterian Church in style in his silver Mercedes where the bride Emma, a teacher at Inver NS, was greeted with a guard of honour from her students.

Emma and her father were then piped into the Wedding Ceremony by Piper Stephen McElhinney. Rev Stephen Richmond officiated at lovely service which was accompanied by Rema Johnston on the church organ.

Photographer for the day was the excellent Gerard McHugh Photography from Ballybofey, Co Donegal, who took the happy couple and bridal party into the stunning grounds of Harveys Point Country Hotel for the creative bridal photoshoot with the background of the Lake, amazing grounds, and Bluestack Mountains on a crisp winters evening.

Harvey’s as always looked great and the room decor was excellent and all helped by the bride’s great choices – including a Man Utd table plan – which saw the bride and groom take price of place at the Sir Alex Ferguson Table!

Music was by the always lively 5 piece Rockhill Ramblers wedding band and followed on by DJ Stephen McElhinney who kept the energetic crowd entertained all night.

Best wishes to the newlyweds on a long and happy future together!
