Congratulations to Breege Kilfeather and Niall McLoughlin who were married on Monday 30th December 2019 and celebrated their wedding in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sligo.
Bride Breege got ready at the family home in Grange, Co Sligo. Maid of Honour Grainne Kilfeather along with Bridesmaids Enya Kilfeather and Emma Kelly and flowergirl Neala McLoughlin were all in great relaxed form when I arrived. Hair and makeup was being done at the house so that’s ideal for me to just mingle, drink tea and get loads of natural shots as everyone goes about their morning!
Ann Young was in charge of the makeup while Catherine Gormley was working on the hairstyles. Being Christmas week there was a lovely Christmas tree in the house and this was a focal point with the dresses were all hanging up on the windows around it.
Soon Photographer Fergal McGrath arrived and luckily I work with Fergal a lot and it’s ideal. We know each other’s styles so well at this stage that we can just work away around each other with ease.
And with no fuss whatsoever Breege was ready and looking absolutely amazing in her bridal dress. No stress and being able to enjoy the wedding day is key. Fair play to everyone for being so calm and relaxed for this lovely day in Sligo. Then after a few photos with family and bridesmaids and the flower girl it was off to the wedding ceremony in Grange Church.
Wedding Ceremony in Grange Co Sligo
Groom Niall was there in great time and mingling away with the arrival of the guests. And Fr Christy was out mingling too and having the craic with the packed church. Gillian Brennan provided the music for the ceremony. Once Breege arrived it was straight into the lovely ceremony which went without a hitch… Apart from Niall dropping Breege’s ring! But only a minor detail and normal service was soon resumed!
After the ceremony it was into the pub next door for the guests and the bridal party and happy couple popped into mix for a little while before heading off for the photoshoot.
Reception in Radisson Blu Rosses Point
Not far from the Radisson Blu Hotel at Rosses Point Photographer Fergal had found some lovely photo locations and then it was onto the hotel. Always a brilliant venue at the Radisson and the staff are all great, and the food is top notch too. And the couple were surprised during the meal with a flashmob rendition of Grace which went down really well.
After the meal the brides sister Enya and her Irish Dancers performed before Bridal Wave band filled the floor and the party got going properly!
