A big congratulations to Annabella Doherty and Seamus Wilhare who got married on Friday 16th March 2018. It was held in Carrigart with reception in Rosapenna.
I’m from Donegal Town and travelling to the North of Donegal is always so cool. I like to travel to anywhere. But I think the Wild Atlantic Way gets much wilder the closer to Malin Head that you get!
The wedding mass was held in St John the Baptist in Carrigart. The nuptials were celebrated by Fr Charle Byrne. Indeed being Gold Cup day Fr Charlie had a few good tips for the Cheltenham horse racing.
The main tip was a namesake of the bride. This horse was actually placed and won a few guests a couple of euro! Always do an each way bet I suppose was the better tip!
Wedding Photography & Aerial Drone Video
Photographer for the day was the talented Claire Brown of Studio Brown. She is based in Dublin but covering nationwide and further afield. For the photoshoots we all headed to the Murderhole Beach a few miles away.
Aerial film was provided by Martin Gallagher from the Sky High Photographer. Drone videography is alwasy such an addition to any wedding film. It won’t suit every wedding or day. But when you have stunning landscapes and natural beauty like we were blessed with then it’s a must.
Wedding Reception
Reception was in the nearby Rosapenna Hotel. And the evening’s entertainment was by the Beefsteak Dancers. Needless to say the lively crowd partied away all night long! Best wishes to a lovely couple for the future.
