M&J // Harvey’s Point Wedding Videographer

Harvey’s Point is consistently ranked in the top wedding hotels in Ireland for good reason and was the perfect choice for Michaela Martin and James Gascoigne who got married in July 2022. Bride Michaela grew up in Coventry but her grandparents are from this beautiful part of Co Donegal and indeed were married in the same church in Clar.  I was delighted to be their Harvey’s Point Wedding Videographer for this lovely Summer Wedding.

Michaela got ready in Harvey’s Point Country Hotel which is on the banks of Lough Eske which flows into the Bay in Donegal Town. The bride was well looked after by Vicky Cook as Maid of Honour and Kate Kavanagh, Anna Kavanagh and Emma Gascoigne her bridesmaids.

Makeup was by Kerry Harvey and Rossano’s provided the hairdressers who went to the hotel and everything was done on site. The stunning dress was designed by Martina Liana, flowers were by Geraldine in Donegal Town Flowers.

Groom James was with Best Man Michael Holder and groomsmen Scott Wheeler, Daniel Bradley, Ross Krupa and Matthew Travis. But the star of the show at the house had to be Spencer the couples lovely little toddler who was looking dapper in his suit.

The ceremony was celebrated by Fr Niall Coll in St Agatha’s Church in Clar just outside Donegal Town. Music for the ceremony was by Deirdre McLaughlin. Michaela and her dad Stephen arrived at the church  in a lovely convertible from Ideal Wedding cars.

After the ceremony it was off to the hotel and there was a quick stop en-route where Photographer Paul McGinty of Ghorm Studio made the most of some lovely light to capture some great photos.

After arriving at the wedding ceremony in Harvey’s Point where Declan from Simply Divine Decor had lots of little touches to personalise the day it was time to mingle at the drinks reception where the Bentley Boys provided the soundtrack to this part of the day.

The happy couple arrived in the grand ballroom reception to the sounds of Sweet Caroline and the lively crowd were all on their feet to welcome the happy couple. After a top quality meal it was back to the Bentley Boys who performed the first dance song. Soon the dance floor was packed and the party had well and truly started

Many happy wishes to a lovely couple and all the very best in the future.
