On Friday, December 20th, 2024, I had the privilege of filming Naomi McCullagh and Enda McCann’s wedding at the stunning Corick House Hotel & Spa in Clogher, County Tyrone. The day was filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt moments—perfectly fitting for a winter wedding.
Bridal Preparations
The day began at Naomi’s family home near Omagh. Briege Quinn had started to style Naomi’s hair, while Aoife Boyle worked her magic with makeup. The house buzzed with excitement as Naomi got ready with great help from Maid of Honour Hannah Downey and Bridesmaids Eliza Downey & Jade McCullagh. Naomi’s elegant gown from Pronuptia Bridal Belfast, paired with delicate accessories, set the tone for a day of timeless elegance.
Groom Preparations
Meanwhile, Enda and his groomsmen prepped at the couple’s new home in Belfast. Luckily my second videographer Paul was available so we were able to film both morning preparations. Enda was with some of his closest friends: Michael Kelly, Michael McCollum, Odhran Hampsey, and Niall Mulgrew. A lovely fry up was enjoyed and soon it was time to iron the shirts and get on the road!
First Look
Naomi and Enda shared a beautiful, and emotional, first look before their ceremony. This intimate moment highlighted the deep connection between them. This was a lovely moment to settle any nerves and share a nice bit of time together before the formalities of the ceremony.
Ceremony Highlights
The humanist ceremony was lovely with 2 nice readings and was officiated by Liz Peel who told the story of the couple from meeting until reaching this special day. For music we had Dominique’s stunning vocals accompanied by Plunkett on keyboard setting a romantic atmosphere. Unique touches like the handfasting and ring warming ceremonies added a personal flair that reflected the couple’s journey.
Reception and Evening Festivities
After the ceremony, guests were greeted warmly by the couple before enjoying the reception in Corick House’s grand dining room. Dinner began with the starters, followed by speeches from the fathers of the bride and groom, the best man, and the groom himself. Then it was onto the main course and a everyone could enjoy the dinner! There was a surprise during the meal when Singer Secreto appeared and got the crowd up on their feet doing a conga and waving the napkins to the excellent singing.
Soon after this The Jukebox Jurors kicked off the dancing with their lively performance. The couple’s first dancemarked the start of an evening filled with joy and celebration.
Capturing Memories to Treasure Forever
Throughout the day, I worked alongside Mark McCullough Photography to capture every special moment. Corick House’s picturesque grounds offered countless opportunities for breathtaking shots, with the winter light adding a magical touch and it was great working with Mark for the first time.
A Memorable Christmas Wedding
Naomi and Enda’s wedding was a beautiful blend of love, tradition, and personal touches. From the heartfelt private vows to the lively reception, every moment was a testament to their unique bond. As they embark on this new chapter, I’m honored to have played a part in preserving their memories.
