A Magical Castle Elopement in Ireland – B&C
If you’re dreaming of eloping to an Irish castle surrounded by lush greenery, heartfelt vows, and timeless charm, Brooke and Corbin’s intimate celebration at Cabra Castle will be all the inspiration you need.
On Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, they brought their closest family and friends—from the United States to the enchanting grounds of Cabra Castle in County Cavan, Ireland, for a romantic destination wedding that perfectly blended American warmth with Irish tradition.
Why Elope to a Castle in Ireland?
For many American couples, eloping to Ireland offers the best of both worlds: a legal wedding abroad, rich cultural heritage, and breathtaking natural backdrops. And nowhere brings this to life better than Cabra Castle, an 18th-century estate turned luxury venue, known for its dramatic stone walls, sweeping staircases, and idyllic gardens.
The Morning of Magic
The wedding day began with a peaceful morning in the Gate Lodge of Cabra Castle, where Brooke and her bridal party—her sister Emily and best friends Kelcie and Haley—got ready. Hair was styled by Aisling Byrne, while Sinead McMahon worked her magic with makeup. Brooke wore a stunning gown from Bridal Boutique Lewisville, paired with elegant accessories that added a personal touch.
Meanwhile, Corbin and his groomsmen prepped nearby at the castle, with sharp suits from Aston Formal Wear, anticipation building for the emotional ceremony ahead. And wedding planner Nicole was on hand from https://www.emeraldaisleevents.com to make sure everything was running smoothly!
A Personal Ceremony in the Granary
The couple exchanged vows in the Granary, one of Cabra Castle’s most atmospheric spaces. Officiated by Enda Harte, the ceremony featured deeply personal elements, including handfasting, unity candles, and heartfelt readings by Corbin’s father and Brooke’s grandfather. They spoke their own vows, creating a deeply moving experience captured beautifully by Francis Meaney Photography and Jason McGarrigle Films.
The music, performed by D Strings Violinist, brought a classical Irish flair that made the moment unforgettable.
Irish Elegance Meets American Heart
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour while the newlyweds took portraits around the castle’s stunning grounds. The reception took place back in the Granary, with florals by The Flower Barrow and a cake by Denise O’Reilly Cake Design. The atmosphere was electric thanks to DJ Magiggs, and a spectacular display by Rocket Pyrotechnics lit up the Irish sky.

Brooke and Corbin’s first dance to “Falling Like the Stars” by James Arthur was a romantic highlight, showing how modern love stories can find their fairy-tale ending in a timeless Irish setting.
