A lovely day for a wedding in Dunlewey and An Chuirt for Sinead and Charles.
On a beautiful morning, as the fog cleared off nearby majestic Errigal mountain, bride Sinead Douglas was getting ready at the family home in Derrybeg in West Donegal.
Her bridesmaids Kate Douglas, Barbara Boyd and Ellie Douglas were there to assist and bridal party and family makeup was by Kerry Harvey. The Bride’s makeup was by Kate Douglas from La Vie Beauty and Skincare Specialist.
At his home nearby the Groom, Charles Duffy, was getting ready and was looked after by Groomsmen Conor, Joseph & Padriag Duffy.
Off to the chapel in Peter McLean‘s lovely wedding cars it was soon time for the wedding ceremony carried out by Fr. Brian O’Fearraigh and the groom’s first cousin Fr Michael Sharkey. It was a great fun ceremony with lots of laughs and a lovely ceremony to mark the nuptials.
The ceremony was complemented by beautiful singing of The Hennessy Sisters.
Photographer for the day was Mairead Harkin McGee and for the bridal party shoots we travelled to a beautiful spot overlooking the lake and with Donegal’s highest Mountain, Errigal, in the background.
After the stop is was onto the reception at the nearby An Chuirt Hotel in Gweedore where there was a fantastic wedding meal. Then a taste of the lovely cake made by the bride’s aunt Mary Murtagh – and then everyone partied into the early hours to the sounds of the Pat Gallagher Band.
Congratulations to the happy couple and all the best in the future!
