Highlight clips from the wedding video of Claire Kelly and Alan McGinty who were married in Sessighoneill in Ballybofey, Co Donegal with reception in The Villa Rose Hotel on the 8th August 2014.
Their Ballybofey Wedding ceremony was officiated by Fr Patsy Arkinson. The bridal party wedding photoshoot was held at Drumboe Woods, Ballybofey, Co Donegal and the wedding photos were taken by photographer Patrick Gallagher.
The bride and groom had a lovely blue bus to take them and their bridal party around for the day which was a lovely touch and kept them with their friends rather than off in car on their own.
After the photo shoot at Drumboe Woods we travelled the short distance to the home of Villa Rose proprietors Tommy and Bridget Gallen who always provide their stunning gardens, with it’s amazing cottage and half door. The setting here is amazing with lovely tiled paths, bridge, stream and covered walkways. Then after a short stop here on to the Villa Rose for the rest of the evening!
It was a good day weather wise and thankfully was dry and not too sunny or windy. People often assume that a sunny day is best for your wedding video and photographs but it can cause squinting! The best day is lightly overcast, dry and no wind. Luckily that’s what we got!
As always everyone was well looked after in the Villa Rose with a fantastic meal, great service and accommodating hosts.
The band for the evening’s entertainment was the Kopy Kats
