Outdoor Wedding at Lough Eske Castle // E&S

Elinor and Shaun tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor wedding at Lough Eske Castle on the 10th September 2022. The weather was beautiful and the wedding guests had arrived from Wales, all over Ireland and from as far away as Canada and the excitement was building for a brilliant day from early morning.

Congratulations to Elinor and Shaun who met on a night out in the Thirsty Goat in Belfast, followed by romance and then a proposal in St Lucia!

Meanwhile groom Shaun Ledwood was with goomsmen Jack Eveson and Cain Peacock also in one of the rooms in the Castle getting ready. Soon the guests started arriving to this historic Castle near Donegal Town and the scene was getting set outside.

A perfect space at the Castle for an outdoor ceremony

For this outdoor wedding ceremony at Lough Eske Castle Elinor and Shaun made use of the multi level garden between the forest and the reception room. The location was set off by amazing Floral displays by David McConkey Wedding Flowers and Wedding Planner and the sounds of the Arco String Quartet who set the mood wonderfully.
