Louise & Shaun – Fanavolty & Letterkenny – Donegal Wedding

Louise & Shaun // Fanavolty & Mount Errigal

The wedding of Louise and Shaun was held on 31st March in the Church in Fanavolty.

Bride Louise O’Hagan got prepared at home in Letterkenny with mum Margaret and dad Pat. Maid of honour was the bride’s sister Patricia and bridesmaids were the bride’s other sister Anita and the groom’s sister Breda. Flowergirls were Louise’s neice Niya and God daughter Ella Rose.

The groom Shaun Friel got ready with the help of mum Kathleen, bestman Columba and Shaun’s brother Seamus and cousin Paul. The pageboy was the bride and groom’s gorgeous little boy Seán Óg.

Presiding over the wedding ceremony at Fanavolty was popular parish priest Fr McGarvey.

Prayers of the Faithful were read by neices and nephews Adam, Oísin, Shannon, Níamh, Sophie and Seán.

First reading was by Josephine Donaghey and the second reading was by Adrian Martin.

The church music was sung by Maria Mc Cormack and photographer for the day was Darren Foy. Aerial visuals were by the Sky High Photographer Martin Gallagher.

Cars were by McLaughlin Wedding Cars and the happy couple & bridal party were chauffeured by the always entertaining drivers Roy and John.

After a photostop at Fanad Lighthouse we made a quick pitstop at Portsalon Pier for a few photos and a sneaky pint! Then it was onto the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny for the reception.

And a fun filled reception it was with the Singing Chef making an appearance, the bride’s family performing some accordion music, Mickey and Minnie Mouse calling in and much much more! The evening’s entertainment was by the Beefsteak Dancers Wedding Band and then followed by by DJ Stephen McElhinney.

Well done to both Louise & Shaun (and Seán Og!) – many happy returns and thanks for having me as part of your wedding day. Click here for more wedding videography information
