This lovely Donegal Bride and dapper Groom met in Galway and capped off their first date with a trip to Supermacs. A successful date as Charlene and David celebrated their wedding on Saturday 30th July 2022 and I’m delighted to share the preview wedding video from this great day.
Bride Charle McFadden got ready with Maid of Honour Éadaoin Nic Geidigh and Bridesmaids Mandy Doohan, Shannon Koledin and Annie Meehan at the family home at Magheroarty in North West Donegal on the beautiful Wild Atlanic Way route along the coast of Ireland.
An early start for Hairdresser Kelly Anne Curran and MUA Danielle Gallagher who were at the house ready to start into the morning prep at 6.30am. A delicious breakfast then arrived from the ‘Gourmet Queen‘ in Gortahork to set everyone up for the day.
Meanwhile groom David Mullins was getting ready in the Waterfront Hotel a short drive away. This lovely hotel in Dungloe was also the wedding reception venue later that afternoon. Situated in a stunning spot overlooking the Bay and the islands and with a pier out front which was great to see the sunset in the evening.
David was accompanied by his 3 Best Men! Hard to pick one from these 3 sound lads so it was Ian Mullins, Mike Egan and Cillian Quinn by his side for the day. Once dressed and ready the boys made their way to Gortahork to Teach Pobaill Chríost Rí in Gortahork.
The lovely ceremony was celebrated by an tAthair Seán O’Gallchoir and the ceremony music was by David’s brother Vincent Mullins. A lovely reflection was read by Charlene’s friend Laura McKiernan. Floral arrangements were by BB Flowers.
After the ceremony it was off with photographer Jay Doherty to Magheroarty Beach then a stop on the cliffs on the way back around to the wedding reception in Dungloe.
Once back to the Waterfront it was time for the guest to mingle at the drinks reception and the Galway and Donegal crowds mixed well and had a great lively evening. After the meal it was over to ‘Late Night Radio’ who kicked off the evening’s entertainment proper and the First Dance was to ‘New Favourite Memory’ by Brad Paisley.
