Well done to Colleen McDyre from Ard McGill in Glenties and Mayo Man and Glenties Garda Noel Gavaghan who were married on Saturday 11th March 2017!
The bride got prepared at her family home and Make Up Artist Kerry Harvey did all the stunning makeup for the bridal party and family. Then it was a quick trip to get the hair done just around the corner at the brand new salon. And what a surprise for the bride to receive an envelope from her groom with a surprise holiday and trip to see Ed Sheeran!
Groom Noel got ready and arrived with groomsmen at the Chapel in Glenties and was warmly greeted by Fr Gerard Cunningham from nearby Fintown. The lovely Fr Gerard filled in on the day due to the recent sad passing of the popular parish priest Fr Pat Prendergast.
Fr John made the trip from Mayo and as a family friend helped concelebrate the lovley wedding nuptial mass. The amazing music for the occasion was by Solosits Bridgeen & Emer Carr, Tomas Boyle on Sax and Eileen Carr on Piano.
As always it was a great day for me working with the talented Paul McGinty of Ghorm Studio Photography. Paul had found some stunning locations taking in rural bogland to the Wildest of the Wild Atlantic Way at Muckross Head!
Then off to the Blue Haven Hotel in Kilcar for an excellent meal and great service as usual from Terance, Princhie and the gang. Then after the speeches Simon Casey and his band took to the stage for the night and entertained the lively gang for the night!
