This was my first time in the Falls Hotel Ennistymon. Indeed it was my first time to film a Wedding in Co Clare. Hopefully I’ll be back soon!
I love travelling for weddings and visiting new locations all around Ireland. Previously I’ve only been in this beautiful part of the country en route elsewhere. Or going to Shannon airport. So I took the chance to stay in the area the night before and have some time in the region.
A well deserved congratulations to Ciara and Dermott who got married on Saturday 16th June 2018 in beautiful Shannon in Co Clare with reception a beautiful scenic drive away in Ennistymon.
Bride Ciara Bates got ready in the family home in Shannon with her bridesmaids Maeve, Martina & Julie.
Groom Dermott Sweeney was up bright and early to go for a run to get the started with a big of energy! Then he went through the morning preparations at The Falls Hotel in Ennistymon, with Groomsmen Barry, Brian and Johnny.
The wedding mass was held in John & Paul Church in Shannon. This was celebrated by Fr Tom Ryan PP and it was a beautiful fun filled celebration of marriage. Luckily with the weather being good then all the guests were treated to a delicious ice-cream afterwards!
Onto the reception then at the lovely Falls Hotel Ennistymon. After a delicious meal the evening’s entertainment kicked off to the sounds of the Electric Circus band. A lovely day for a great couple and all the very best in a long and happy future together.
