Ballyliffin Lodge Wedding Video // S&A

On a beautiful Saturday, the 19th of August 2023, love was in the air as Sarah O’Donnell and Aidan Quinn embarked on their journey of eternal togetherness. As videographer, we had the privilege of capturing every precious moment of their special day in this Ballyliffin Lodge Wedding Video. Let’s dive into the enchanting story of their wedding.

Bridal Preparations:
The day started early at the family home Duntarson House in Drumfries, Co. Donegal. Sarah’s bridal preparations kicked off around 7:30 AM, and it was a hive of activity. The talented Lara Diver worked her magic on Sarah’s hair, while Lisa Dillon of DK Beauty crafted the perfect makeup look.  Sarah was attended to by bridesmaids Mary Louise Mahon, Leah Waldron & Denise McCarthy

The Groom:
Meanwhile in Buncrana, Co Armagh Groom Aidan and his family were getting ready. We were there to capture every moment, ensuring we didn’t miss a beat. This was a great location as it was only minutes from the church at Cockhill where the ceremony would take place later.

Ceremony:
The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Chapel. Fr. Walsh officiated the beautiful nuptial mass. The talented Danielle Kelly provided the musical backdrop, setting the perfect tone for this special occasion.

The ceremony featured readings from Kelly Quinn and Majella McLaughlin, and a heartfelt prayer of the faithful from close friends and family.

Family and Bridal Party Photos:
Following the ceremony, the couple planned to capture unforgettable moments with their bridal party at Dunree Fort. Photographer for the day were Ali and Laura who are always so much fun tow work with and they made the most of the beautiful grounds of the fort site located on the Inishowen hillside overlooking the River Swilly.

Reception:
The festivities continued at the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa Hotel in Ballyliffin in North Donegal right on the coastline. The reception featured the talented band Keltic Kaos, and the couple’s first dance was to the melodious tunes of Keywest’s “Apple Tree Hill.” As an extra surprise, secret singers were set to entertain the guests, during the meal which was great fun.

Vendor Information:
Blooming Marvellous in Buncrana provided the stunning floral arrangements, while First Choice Limo and Aidan’s uncle’s Rolls Royce ensured the couple arrived in style.

Lastly, a unique touch to the reception was a retro phone booth with an audio guest book. Aidan’s creation was sure to be a showstopper, offering guests a creative way to leave their best wishes.

Sarah and Aidan’s wedding was a true testament to love, tradition, and creating cherished memories. We were honoured to be part of their special day and create their Ballyliffin Lodge Wedding Video, and we can’t wait to relive it through the lens for years to come.
