As a Donegal Town Wedding Videographer it’s brilliant to be asked to film a wedding so close to home. I regularly travel all around the county, and the country, but it’s great to be able to be so close to home and enjoy the beautiful scenery on our doorsteps.
Bride Emer Cassidy got ready at the family home in nearby Ballintra on a beautiful April morning. The Cherry blossom at the front in beautiful full bloom providing a splash of colour to the morning scenes.
Meanwhile Groom David McHugh was in the Mill Park Hotel in Donegal Town getting ready with his groomsmen Connell, Stephen, Jake and Ronan. They boys got into their suits then hit the Tyrconnell Whiskey for a wee drop to settle the nerves!
Meanwhile back in Ballintra Emer and bridesmaids Lorena, Elaine, Andrea and Leah with the help of Tara, Frances, Kerry and Sinead were getting hair and makeup done and geting ready for the ceremony in the nearby Ballintra Church. Dress, Shoes & accessories were from La Boda Bridal and Rosie and Dott.
Fr Adrian Gavigan celebrated the lovely Wedding Mass and the beautiful ceremony music was by Emer Warren a good friend of the couple. Photographer was Marty Crawford. Flowers By Shirley Doherty of Love Blooms and the cars were my Michael Gallagher of Donegal Wedding Cars.
After the ceremony it was time for the portrait session and we stopped at the lovely Murvagh Beach before making way to the Mill Park for the reception.
After the speeches and the dinner the guests were surprised by the Singing Waiter who had the lively crowd up dancing and got the party going well before the Bentley Boys Band got the evening festivities going properly!
Congratulations Emer and David and can only wish for a long and happy life ahead to a lovely couple.
