Killenummery Church and Kilronan Castle Wedding

A massive congratulations to Catherine Hynes and Brian Kennedy who tied the knot recently in Killenummery and Kilronan Castle.

Bride Catherine got ready in the spectacular Kilronan Castle and was helped by Bridesmaids Ashling McManus, Angela Gilmore and Martina Murray.

Meanwhile groom Brian was getting prepared with Groomsmen Kieren Wason , Mark McNulty and Martin Underwood.

The wedding took place in Killenummery Church in Co Leitrim. This is in the parish of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise which covers parts of counties Longford, Leitrim, Cavan, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo and Westmeath. Killenummery Chapel is a beautiful country location and it was so personal to Catherine and Brian as it was in the same chapel that her own parents were wed many years before.

Celebrating the nuptial mass was Fr Vincent Connaughton who made the day a real pleasure with his relaxed style and kept everyone in great humour and nicely relaxed!

Photographer was Fergal McGrath and it was of to a nearby Lake for the photoshoot with the bridal party.

Then it was onto Kilronan Castle. Dormerly known as Castle Tension this stunning wedding venue stands on 40 acres of parkland bordering the beautiful Lough Meelagh. It is only 2k from the village of Ballyfarnon. The house dates from the early 1800s and in the late 1800’s it was expanded into the building we see today. The newest addition in modern times hosts the ballroom and the spa.

After the fabulous meal in the Castle the lively Cosmonauts band kicked off the party for the fun crowd.

Many happy years ahead to both Catherine and Brian.
