Meenaneary was the place to be on Saturday 5th September for the wedding of Monica and Noel!
350 guests packed out the Chapel in Meenaneary for the wedding of former Donegal footballer Noel McGinley and Monica Doherty.
Fr Francis McAteer and Fr Eddie Gallagher officiated at a lovely ceremony with some great music from the Meenaneary Choir and singers on hand to complement the day.
The best man was Oliver Kennedy and groomsman was Terence Boyle. The maid of honour was Deirdre Doherty and bridesmaid was Paula Doherty.
There were readings by John James McGinley and Michael Doherty.
The bride’s mum Sarah read a lovely reflection after communion time.
The pageboy Turlough Doherty and little flower girl Ruth Gillespie played their roles perfectly for the big day.
Photographer for the day was Ardara’s John McConnell and Ciara from jmac.ie.
The wedding reception was held in the always excellent Blue Haven Hotel in Kilcar.
The entertainment was provided by the Cufflinks Band who entertained until the wee hours for a very lively gang!
All the best to the happy couple in their future together as Mr & Mrs McGinley!
